Ernst & Young LLP's office relocation from Palo Alto to Redwood City will provide its employees a slew of modern amenities, reports the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.
The space, which will house 200 professionals, includes a modern fitness center, volleyball and bocce courts and access to the area's walking trails. Instead of cubicles, employees will share communal tables designed for collaboration.
“Our new location places Ernst & Young in the center of Bay Area’s life sciences community and is situated between the considerable resources of our San Francisco and San Jose practices,” said Brad Herrmann, managing partner. “We are proud of our workplace of the future, and we appreciate the enthusiastic support of our professionals and clients for embracing this innovative workspace.”
The firm, which employs approximately 1,700 people, also has offices in San Jose and San Francisco.
