Ashley Ray is an associate at Olmstead Williams Communications (OWC) who specializes in leveraging strategic initiatives to build brand awareness for clients as well as drive demand for products and services. With a passion for creative storytelling, she develops key messaging and secures top-tier coverage, creating opportunities to propel clients to the forefront of their sectors. Previously, she worked as an account executive at PMBC Group in Beverly Hills where she led a team of three to serve accounts in the tech sector. By developing and executing strategic thought leadership campaigns as well as creative consumer-focused media pushes, she helped position clients as industry leaders, bolster interest and therefore increase business value. Ashley’s experience in public relations spans a variety of sectors including business to business, consumer, fashion, lifestyle and technology.
Originally from the east coast, Ashley graduated from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and minors in Art History and Communications with a focus on public relations. A recipient of the merit-based Henry C. Rogers Endowed Scholarship, she earned a master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations from The Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California.
She lives in West Hollywood and is a jewelry designer working with precious metal and stones. She has a graduate gemologist degree from GIA in California.
