The 2022 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® awards program mixes the who’s who of changemakers, innovators and disruptors. OWC is a proud sponsor of the program. Business awards are a core component of a company’s broader marketing and thought leadership roadmap. The EOY awards are the only true business competition that attracts strong competitors. CEOs and founders must make it through the challenge of being selected in three rounds of competition: semifinals, finals and then a final night where the winners are announced.
Winners are selected by a panel of independent judges, including previous winners of the award, leading CEOs and private capital investors and other regional business leaders. Entrepreneurs may nominate themselves or be nominated by peers and other business leaders. This year’s submission deadline is March 4, 2022.
The competitors are evaluated based on six criteria: entrepreneurial leadership; talent management; degree of difficulty; financial performance; societal impact and building a values-based company; and originality, innovation and future plans. Since its launch 36 years ago, the program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities in over 60 countries.
Whether they are winners, finalists or semifinalists, entrepreneurs, founders and CEOs credit the program for its unparalleled opportunity for membership into a powerful club of global business leaders. They cite validation, exposure to new customers and investors and recognition for their employees as key benefits to participating in the program.
It all starts with the nomination form: https://eoy.ey.com/home. Entrepreneurs are not intimidated and welcome opportunities to tell their stories. This is their chance.
Best,
Tracy
