Paulo Acuña is an associate at Olmstead Williams Communications who specializes in social media and oversees the development of all electronic newsletters for clients. He writes, edits and designs across various traditional and digital platforms. In a world full of competing social media analytics tools with evolving standards, he works with clients to analyze the right metrics to demonstrate success. Before joining the team, Paulo worked at Eisner Pediatric & Family Medical Center, a nonprofit, federally-qualified health center, where he spearheaded a company-wide newsletter, built media databases, supported social media campaigns and assisted in the production of special events. He is passionate about journalism, public relations and the power of communication to inspire and spread a positive message. Paulo also worked at BELLO Magazine, an online entertainment and lifestyle publication with more than 5 million readers.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Paulo earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in history from Marquette University in Milwaukee where he was a reporter and managing editor of the Marquette Journal, the campus-wide student magazine.
