FlexEnergy Inc’s New Hampshire operations served as the backdrop for U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s announcement last week about the bipartisan Energy Savings and Industrial Competitiveness Act of 2011.
According to articles by Seacoast Online and the Nashua Telegraph, the legislation contains a broad package of low-cost tools that would reduce barriers for businesses, homeowners and consumers looking to adopt off-the-shelf energy efficiency technologies. The legislation also hopes to create much-needed jobs.
Foster’s Daily Democrat reported that Senator Shaheen praised cleantech company FlexEnergy, whose operations have grown from 10 employees to roughly 100 in a year’s time. The event was attended by more than 50 FlexEnergy employees and members of the media.
