‘Picture Perfect’ photo tips from The Great Courses

The-Great-Courses_Spirit-maJoe Sartore, an instructor for The Great Courses and an award-winning photographer for National Geographic, offers tips for taking “Picture Perfect” photographs in the April issue of Southwest Airlines Spirit magazine.
“By changing your perspective a little, you can really make pictures sing,” Sartore says in the piece. “To find the best direction to shoot, in terms of both light and background, think about it from a bird’s-eye view, a worm’s-eye view and from 360 degrees.”
