OWC has created public relations programs for research universities in the United States to raise awareness for their technology and innovations within the investment community, among potential industry and healthcare partners, government and regulatory bodies, etc. This month, OWC’s Tracy Williams spoke to a group of Russian scientists and professors responsible for technology transfer at a number of Russian universities at the offices of Perkins Coie in Century City. The presentation spotlighted the value of media as third party validation for technology, the importance of peer-reviewed research publishing as well as the important role of social media in expanding reach. The seminar was part of series being offered through CDRF Global as part of their Innovation Travel Grant Program.
