The COVID-19 pandemic and the substantial disruption that the global economy is facing has created a wave of uncertainty over the financial markets. Many people will be losing their jobs which will have an inevitable impact on the real estate market. Although these times are concerning, there is no reason to panic.
“I don’t think the outcome is going to be catastrophic, but this is going to be very uncomfortable for a while,” said Gary Mozer, principal and co-founder at George Smith Partners. “The government has to step in—because there are too many people being affected—and they are starting with cheap money.”
