Everett’s WaterTechtonics, which improves water quality, and Bothell’s Winshuttle, which sells business software, were the two local companies among 37 in the Seattle area that have been nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
The award, in its 25th year, tries to identify companies that have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
The finalists in the regional contest will be named and May and the regional winner will be announced in June. The national winners will be named in a dinner hosted by Jay Leno in Palm Springs on Nov. 12.
