Wickware Communications has released a study on marketing and branding practices of 150 U.S. financial services firms which found that fewer than 25 percent are successfully engaging customers across multiple communication channels. And, the vast majority of firms struggle to differentiate themselves in the market.
For example, more than 80 percent of the asset managers surveyed rely on verbal clichés such as “client service-oriented,” “globally focused” and “unique investment philosophy,” and images such as globes, compasses and trees to depict their companies.
