Tracy Williams at the Media Leaders Virtual Conference

Seoul Investment Conf Tracy WilliamsWhen searching for the best conferences to help your business grow, many businessmen and businesswomen find themselves stranded. To travel to the locations of some of these top conferences on public relations, marketing or media, you usually have to travel to another part of the country. And honestly, the plane ticket, the hotel room and the hours spent traveling and time spent away from the office are expensive and, sometimes, a waste of valuable resources. As in the words of the latest YouTube sensation, “Ain’t nobody got time for that.”
So if you still want to exist in the know and learn from the best leaders out there, what are you going to do? Well, Josh Ochs of Media Leaders is bringing the experts to you. You don’t even have to leave your office.

As part of the conference, Tracy Williams, president here at Olmstead Williams Communications, has a webcast entitled: “7 Tactical Public Relations Tips for Startups & Small Businesses.” In this presentation, Tracy will explain the best practices your business should be applying to your public-relations strategy. Tracy will share her years of experience with you and provide excellent insight and tips for optimization. For example, most professionals understand that content is king. But what if you’re a small company, and you want media attention from the New York Times, Dow Jones or the Los Angeles Times, well, it’s going to be tough to convince a reporter to share your story.
But if you think about media attention not just in terms of content but also context, then you will find that your voice, your story, your company can be a part of a longer conversation. By pitching clients as thought leaders, you will find that their voice, their insights can be a part of the larger story. So sign up for the conference with Media Leaders and hear more advice from Tracy Williams on how to figure out where your story fits into the news. Click the video below for a little taste of the full event.

The conference will take place on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, but all presentations will be available for 30 days.
