Matthew Stover has rejoined Ernst & Young LLP’s Seattle practice as an assurance partner, the firm announced today. In his 15-year career, Stover has gained diverse auditing and management experience, focusing on international and SEC technical accounting and reporting matters.
Stover started his career in Ernst & Young’s Chicago and Grand Rapids offices, joining the firm’s Seattle office in 2005. He has worked with companies in a variety of industries, including technology, manufacturing, timber and retail. Stover returns to Ernst & Young from eBay Inc., where he spent the last year as the company’s director of accounting.
“Matt brings more than 15 years of experience serving both international public clients and innovative startups,” said Dan Smith, Seattle Office Managing Partner. “He has worked with many of the Pacific Northwest’s leading companies, and we are pleased to welcome him back to our rapidly-growing Greater Seattle practice.”
Stover earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Michigan. He is a certified public accountant licensed to practice in Washington, a certified management accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
