Boston College's Lou Provenzano named CEO of Language Line Services

In February, Louis Provenzano ’80, president and COO of Language Line Services, was named CEO of the company. Based in Monterey, CA, the firm provides language interpretation and translation services. A polyglot himself, Louis earned his BA in romance languages and international business law from BC and speaks six languages. He is dedicated to helping people communicate better in our nation, where more than 170 different languages and dialects are spoken. Louis has served on the board of directors of California Healthcare Interpreters Association and is an active participant in the Monterey Language Capital of the World Advocacy Council, Economic Development leadership of the Monterey Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Monterey County.
