Anthony Choe, partner of private equity firm Brentwood Associates, was selected as a winner of the 2011 M&A Advisor 40 Under 40 award last Friday. Winners were selected for their accomplishments and expertise from a pool of prominent nominees by an independent judging panel of distinguished business leaders. M&A Advisor created this recognition awards program to promote mentorship and professional development amongst the emerging business leaders.
Anthony joined Brentwood Associates in 1996. He currently is a member of the Board of Directors of Chamilia, K-Mac Holdings, Pacific Island Restaurants, Spectrum Clubs, The Teaching Company and Zoës Kitchen, as well as the Los Angeles Advisory Board of the Posse Foundation. Brentwood Associates, with an aggregate transaction value of over $5 billion, is the leading niche consumer brand private equity firm in the West.
Brentwood Associates also was recently ranked as one of the world’s top-20 private equity firms in the HEC-Dow Jones Private Equity Fitness Ranking. The second annual, forward-looking ranking considers the flexibility of firms in investing, level of sector focus, strategic differentiation from competitors and historical deal fitness, among other factors.
