Saban Community Clinic needed to raise its visibility in the community, educate patients about new services and help reach more people in need throughout Los Angeles. OWC created media moments to generate stories around the Saban Community Clinic’s new pediatrics services, dental practice and infectious disease clinic. Nearly every major news outlet in Los Angeles covered Saban Community Clinic, including every broadcast station.

OWC created media events which drew local TV, radio and news outlets to Saban Community Clinic to promote “Back-to-School Vaccination Day” before the school year began and “Pediatric Dental Check-ups” before Halloween.
With LA facing a homeless crisis of epidemic proportions, OWC highlighted the much-needed services that Saban Community Clinic’s services, such as free showers, infectious disease clinic and homeless care kits.

The Vaccination Day media event spiked patient enrollment and vaccinated more underserved families than it ever had before in one day (more than 70 vaccines), causing the clinic to run out of T-dap vaccines so that patients had to set up appointments throughout the week to be vaccinated.
