Finance-related job openings on increase for executives

Hiring has been brisk for executives with accounting skills, according to the Cerius Executive Demand Index report, which spotlights C-suite recruiting and hiring trends. During the fourth quarter of 2011, 28 percent of the more than 1,100 top executive job openings nationwide were finance-related, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
“Particularly going into 2012, savvy and experienced CFOs and CAOs will be the keys to successful companies weathering the economy and maintaining or growing market share,” said Pamela Wasley, CEO of Cerius Interim Executive Solutions.
