For anyone looking to furnish their patio or outdoor space this fall, there is a new product called the Vireoo which combines an electrical radiant heat lamp with a built-in tabletop, according to environment blog Envirothink. GreenChance Inc. is the exclusive distributor in the U.S. and Canada for the tables which are manufactured by Mensa Heating.
“It is safe to touch,” Crystal Ramdial of GreenChance told Envirothink. “You won’t get burned when it’s on.”
That makes it safe, especially for kids and infants. In addition, the Vireoo saves energy. Forty active Vieroo tables consume as much electricity as an outdoor propane gas heater — 5 cents per hour for each heater vs. $2 for gas.
