The number of requests for Haitian interpreters increased 149 percent in Jacksonville vs. the fourth quarter a year ago. The report tracks phone calls nationwide in the healthcare and government sectors in more than 170 languages.
“Communities across the country are experiencing historic demographic and cultural shifts,” said Louis F. Provenzano, Jr., president & CEO of Language Line Services.
