According to the LA Times, don’t live in fear of a hotel fire, but do plan as though your life could depend on it. A recent visitor at the Encore Hotel in Las Vegas noticed that his room was not equipped with fire sprinklers. So, what now?
“Everybody has to understand that they have to take control of their own safety and … security,” said Charlie Carroll, senior vice president at digital identity giant IDEMIA, and formerly a police officer who has spent his career in protection.
