LA Boy Scout group calls for welcoming gay adults

The Western Los Angeles County Council of the Boy Scouts of America doesn’t think the new proposal to lift a ban against gay Scouts goes far enough and should include “homosexual adults as troop leaders,” reports Reuters.

“We’re hoping that by being visible on the issue, we can encourage others to have the temerity to join us,” said Alan Snyder, chairman of the board for the Western Los Angeles County Council.
