Private companies in the greater Los Angeles region are thriving, according to the recently published “Inc. 500” list from Inc. magazine which ranks the nation’s fastest growing private companies.
Los Angeles ranked third in the nation with 42 companies on the list, just behind Washington, D.C. (50 companies) and New York (43 companies). The industries most represented in LA were payment processing firms, VOIP providers, search engine optimization companies ad software firms. As reported by socalTECH.com, Thousand Oaks-based PaymentMax, an electronic payments processor, led the Los Angeles market with a whopping 10,058 percent growth over 3 years.
