MVPvets, a local nonprofit organization that assists and prepares transitioning military veterans for meaningful employment in life science companies, has just announced a new online training program to address the need for pathways to employment.
The Academy will kick off on August 20, and is a two-hour weekly program in which each vet is paired with a mentor for maximum success.
The vets will be working through their resume, digital footprint and LinkedIn strategies, strategies for networking digitally and in-person, video interviewing tips and techniques, all culminating with a job search plan and presentation and the opportunity to present themselves at the MedTech Conference via digital networking.
