Veggie Grill expects to double restaurant count by end of 2014

Veggie Grill, a Brentwood Associates portfolio company, is the first Los Angeles-area vegan restaurant chain to go national, with plans to double its total restaurant count from 19 to 40 by the end of 2014.
Outlets up and down the West Coast will be first, followed by Texas and New York, reports the Los Angeles Business Journal.
